London - 25 - 28th June
(i know it was a while ago but i never got round to writing anything ^^)

i went up to London for my birthday with my bf and i had the best time! we stayed in the travel lodge in County Hall, which had the most beautiful view of Westminister, Big Ben and the Thames

i took a fair few photos which i'll be uploading to dA tomoz ^^

even though it was only a couple of days i visited some cool landmarks!
-the globe, we went into the museum section as their was a play on. it really was fascinating~
-went on the london eye
-took my complain-y bf round the tate modern
-visited hyde park and got ripped off in china town


i also went to Camden for the first time, i tried octopus dumplings (they were weird!)and the bf had some totally disgusting tropical drink (it was so yucky!) nevertheless, it was an awesome place, with the best shops tucked away in the little alleys ^_^



Camping 24th - 26th July
i love it! i went for the weekend with my mum and her friends...cuz i'm cool like that xD

the definite highlight was the beautiful beach that was right near to where we had our tents set up. to get there i had to climb over a small fence and walk down really steep steps, when i got to the end i had to hop over a small wooden wall which was evil considering i almost slipped over on the pebbles on the other side
it was worth it though, because the beach was perfect. i walked beside a massive cliff face dotted with bright flowers on the other side of me was an array of man-made structures, interesting contrast. the beach was a mix of sand and shingle, dotted with rocks and washed up metal. i stopped several times to take in the quirky sights, such as the mini waterfall and the interesting shape the steps embedded into the cliff made.

the first day was so relaxing, we set ourselves up and went food shopping ^^ the next day was spent tottering around taking in the sights of the area (we went to the beach + i poked around in rock pools!) and then going for a meal in the evening. on the last day we went to wells, i haven't been there for ages and i'd forgotten how awesome it was. we did a little shopping, took a horse drawn carriage to the beach, did more shopping XD, and headed to the beach. we sat around eating sweets and flying kites, i just kinda sat there looking at the beautiful sand dunes and the clump of forest in the distance. we walked back to wells and got some chips, sat by a galleon and watched the crabbers, i love crabbing!

-and of course all the little sea side-y shops! like the one where i bought my bf a shiny windmill, he was so amused by it ^w^

theres gonna be lots of paint, stickers and glitter! can't wait!! X3
